Susan Abeln, Vice President Workers' Compensation, brings more than 22 years experience in the healthcare industry to her role spearheading workers' compensation cost containment efforts and loss control. Ms. Abeln has been a consultant in occupational injury management and managed care for the past 15 years and has written widely in the areas of disability management, functional outcomes, risk management, and workers' compensation cost containment. Susan is a licensed physical therapist and certified Field Safety Representative, who writes regularly for the publication Workers' Compensation Cost Control, and authored “Rehabilitation and Disability Management.”
